Abstract

Foshan paper-cut culture represents a vital element of Foshan’s rich traditional heritage. Translating Foshan paper-cut art plays a critical role in enabling global audiences to appreciate and understand this cultural expression. Effective dissemination of Foshan paper-cut within the international community relies heavily on translation, particularly the use of standardized and consistent translation terminology. Such linguistic precision not only facilitates accurate cultural representation but also strengthens Foshan’s cultural soft power, promoting its traditional artistry on a global stage. This study examines the strategies and significance of translating Foshan paper-cut culture, highlighting how translation serves as a bridge between local cultural identity and international comprehension
