Islamic teachings that brings Rahmatan lil 'alamin must be spread throughout the world as a task for the caliphs after Prophet Muhammad SAW. Through peaceful and military expansion, they spread the da'wah of Islam with a policy based on social benefit as the embodiment of Shari'a destinations. This paper tries to trace historically how khulafaurrasyidin implements social benefit policy in the perspective of shari'a destinations (maqashid) that are patterned in peaceful and military expanses. Based on historical search , it reinforces the impression of the existence of Islamic teachings that are dynamic and creative, in accordance with the faced sociological reality.
