Abstract
The unsteady MHD mixed convective flow of chemically reacting fluid through a sclerotic oscillatory artery in the presence of radiative heat has been analyzed. Closed form method was employed to solve the flow models and the solutions to the velocity, temperature and concentration profile are obtained. The effect of various flow parameters controlling the situation is discussed with the aid of graphs. Significant results from this study show that the blood velocity and blood temperature increase with increasing values of wall temperature, thermal absorption parameter, thermal Grashof number, mass Grashof number, systolic pressure and Prandtl number. While, blood velocity diminishes due to increase in magnetic parameter. Furthermore, Concentration of the blood rises due to the increase in wall lipid, Schmidt number and chemical absorption parameter.
