This study is titled, “Perception and Attitude of the People of Adamawa State toward the Northeast Development Commission.” The study’s broad objective is to determine how the people of Adamawa State perceive the Northeast Development Commission’s performance and to determine their attitude toward the commission. Although there are many theories or models that are relevant to the study, the study pitched tent with the perception theory. Descriptive research design was adopted with data being collected through the questionnaire. These data were complemented by data obtained from in-depth interviews. The questionnaire was designed based on the four-point Likert scale of Strongly Disagree, Disagree, Strongly Agree, and Agree. The collected data were analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. After an in-depth discussion of the findings, a summary of the major findings will be presented. The study concludes and offers recommendations based on its findings.
