Abstract
This study aims to analyze Paulo Coelho’s “The Winner Stands Alone” by using the Marxist criticism. The study intends to explore the connection between Marx’s social philosophy and the perceptions presented in the above-mentioned novel. It seeks to deploy the Marxist theories in the novel by analyzing the class conflicts. The study uses a descriptive analytic method and examines the plot, themes and characters in the novel. It also clarifies the connection between Karl Marx’s social philosophy and this novel .The results indicate that there is a connection between the Marxist ideologies and the social conflicts which appear in the novel.
