Abstract

Interrogative pronouns play a pivotal role in language, serving as essential tools for eliciting information and facilitating communication. In the Tibetan language, these pronouns exhibit unique forms, rich semantic nuances, and diverse syntactic functions. Their usage reflects intricate rules that govern sentence structure and meaning, highlighting the complexity of Tibetan grammar. This study systematically examines the classification and syntactic functions of Tibetan interrogative pronouns across different contexts, revealing their role in shaping semantic logic and sentence construction. By exploring these patterns, the research provides insights into the structural characteristics of Tibetan and offers theoretical and practical support for Tibetan language teaching, translation, and cross-cultural communication. Understanding the functions of interrogative pronouns not only illuminates Tibetan grammatical mechanisms but also enhances accurate and effective use of the language in various communicative settings
