Abstract
Public services and facilities are critical to the well-being and development of urban populations, particularly in developing countries. Efficient delivery of these services requires careful consideration of multiple dimensions, including geographic accessibility, financial affordability, availability, quality, distribution, and user satisfaction. Among these factors, spatial distribution plays a pivotal role in ensuring equitable access to services for all residents. Over recent decades, spatial analysis of public service distribution has gained increasing attention from both geographic and planning perspectives, highlighting the importance of spatial equity in achieving urban spatial justice. Assessing the current spatial patterns of public services allows urban planners and policymakers to identify underserved areas, optimize facility locations, and improve overall service accessibility. This study examines the accessibility and spatial equity of public services, emphasizing the need for evidence-based planning approaches to enhance the availability and quality of urban facilities. The findings aim to provide insights for improving the allocation and management of public services, ensuring that urban development is inclusive, efficient, and responsive to residents’ needs.
