The paper examined addressing global food security challenges and economic hardship through curriculum implementation for training in Nigeria. The concept of food security, economic hardship and curriculum implementation and training were extensively discussed. Thereafter, the pillars of food security explained, factors that serve as threat to food security described briefly, factors that lead to economic hardship reviewed, teacher factors that enhance and those that hinder curriculum implementation were described. Furthermore, steps to addressing global food security challenges in Nigeria were highlighted, how to mitigate economic hardship emphasized on and how to apply curriculum implementation for training towards addressing food security challenges reviewed and it was concluded that that food security challenges and economic hardship can be overcome in Nigeria through curriculum implementation for training. It was then recommended that the government of Nigeria should do well to close policy gaps with others nations in order to ensure knowledge sharing that would advance food security in Nigeria, stakeholders must come together from the multidimensional divide of food security to produce results that would help combat the challenges of food security, households must build on their competitive advantage to be able to win the battle against economic hardship etc
