This study examines the properties of pre-Hilbert and absolute valued algebras and highlights their fundamental characteristics and interrelationships. A real algebra is called a pre-Hilbert algebra when its norm is induced by an inner product, while an absolute valued algebra is one whose norm satisfies the condition |ab| = |a||b| for all a, b in A. The study further investigates the connections between these algebraic structures and extends Rodriguez’s theorem to more general settings. In particular, it is shown that every two-dimensional real algebra can be isomorphic to a new class of two-dimensional pre-Hilbert algebras. Moreover, for algebraic algebras containing nonzero central idempotents, equivalences are established among the flexibility of the algebra, its degree, and its orthogonality properties within certain vector spaces. The findings contribute to a broader understanding of the structure and behavior of pre-Hilbert and absolute valued algebras, as well as the relationships that exist between them.
