The purpose of this study is to look at the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on women's food buying, cooking, and eating behaviour  among their household in Lagos State, Nigeria. Data were gathered through a self-administered survey by Google Forms submitted to the Face - book pages of women that were known to the researcher already, and the rest of the forms were distributed randomly to various online groups in Lagos, Nigeria. 600 questionnaires were distributed to the women surveyed, 428 completed questionnaires were returned, and 402 copies were found usable for the study, resulting in a response rate of 67 %. The research instrument showed high reliability and validity, with the Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient = 0. 7956. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, percentages, and t-test analyses. The findings revealed that during the COVID -19 pandemic lockdown, women do less shopping in-person and do more cooking at home, do more stockpiling than in the past, do online shopping than in the past, and more concerned to some extent on the safety of the food supply.
