Abstract
This study examines the effects of servant leadership on employee job satisfaction within the context of Achievers University, Owo. Using descriptive survey research design, the research explores quantitative methods on how servant leadership, alongside work motivation and organizational commitment, influences job satisfaction among academic and non-academic staff with two hundred and eighty-four (284) sample size from the population. Data were gathered through questionnaires. The findings reveal that both work motivation and organizational commitment significantly enhance employee job satisfaction, reinforcing existing literature which posits that motivated and committed employees tend to experience greater fulfillment in their roles due to meaningful engagement and emotional investment with (P= 0.013, 0.017<0.05). Interestingly, the servant leadership dimension, while theoretically anticipated to positively impact job satisfaction, did not demonstrate a statistically significant effect in this context. This unexpected result may reflect gaps in the perception or practical application of servant leadership principles within the institution, or it may stem from broader cultural or organizational dynamics that elevate other leadership styles or influences. The regression model accounts for 53.6% of the variance in job satisfaction, indicating a moderately strong model fit, while the significant ANOVA result confirms the collective relevance of the predictors. The recommendation suggested that university should develop employee development and growth programs
