Abstract
Sales growth is one of the significant aspects of organizational performance indicators in both developing and developed countries while Information and Communication Technology stands as a stimulus of growth. It is of these opuses that this study further analyse the relationship between ICT investment and small and medium enterprises’ sales growth in southwestern Nigeria. A multistage sampling procedure was used to select 3,520 registered and unregistered SMEs for the study. Questionnaire administration was the research instrument while data were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Accounting ratios were used to measure sales growth concerning ICT investment. The effect of ICT investment on sales growth was analyzed using regression analysis while the result showed that ICT investment has a positive and statistically significant (P<0.01) on SMEs’ sales growth. This study concluded that investment in ICT had a positive and significant effect on sales growth. Hence, SMEs should invest more on ICT to increase their sales growth.
