Abstract
The study examines the leadership development and personal growth of some selected Pentecostal churches. Leadership development was measured using strategic awareness enhancement and change awareness enhancement, while personal growth was measured with vocational and intellectual growth. The survey study data was obtained through a questionnaire to the leaders of the selected churches. The population comprises the 263 leaders of the selected churches and the sample size of 155 was determined with Krejcie and Morgans (1970) table. Simple random sampling technique was used in the selection of the sample churches, and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient was used to analyse the hypothetical statements. The findings show a positive and significant relationship between leadership development and vocational and intellectual growth. The study concludes that leadership development significantly relates to personal growth and recommends developing leaders through strategic and change awareness enhancement for intellectual and vocational growth.
