This study was on Poverty reduction through identification of human resource developmental needs of Teachers of Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes in technical colleges in Enugu State. Two research questions and two hypotheses guided the study and the population for the study was 58. This consists of 52 technical college teachers and 6 administrators in the two government technical colleges in Enugu State that are accredited by National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) . A descriptive survey research design was used in the study. A questionnaire with 22 items developed from the literature reviewed was used as the instrument for data collection. Cronbach Alpha was used to test the reliability of the instrument which yielded a reliability coefficient of 0.94. t-test was used to test the hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance. The paper identified the human resource developmental needs of TVET teachers in terms of  facilities  in technical colleges as well as the human resource developmental needs of the teachers TVET programmes for effective programme and instructional delivery in technical colleges in Enugu State. The findings of the study showed that there was no significant difference between the mean responses of technical college teachers and administrators on the human resource developmental needs in terms of  facilities, as well as the human resource developmental needs of the teachers in TVET programmes for effective programme and instructional delivery in technical colleges in Enugu State. It was recommended that the government should make quality investments in TVET programmes in technical colleges in Nigeria that will facilitate maintenance of infrastructures, machines, tools, provision of instructional materials and cost of re-training technical college teachers as well as steady salary payment while the TVET administrators/policy makers were urged to put in place workable policies and strategies for achieving realistic goals in technical colleges in Nigeria.
