Abstract
Consciousness arises when the brain reaches such a size that the distance between the lateral geniculate bodies in the left and right hemispheres reach 1.2.5com between themselves. The magic of consciousness is the result of the mind watching itself, or put more elegantly by Descartes, “I think therefore I am.” This paper investigates the mathematics behind consciousness and asks whether a computer can have a mind and a soul. If we have soul, God exists If not, He does not.
