Abstract
This paper investigates the acceptability challenges faced by B.Sc Accounting and Accounting Education graduates in the Nigerian labour market, particularly within selected federal ministries. Using qualitative and quantitative data, the study identifies employer perceptions, employment trends, and skill relevance. Findings reveal a preference for B.Sc Accounting holders due to perceived technical depth, while Education Accounting graduates are often limited to teaching roles. The paper recommends harmonized curriculum reviews, professional certification support, and employer awareness initiatives to close the gap.
