Abstract
This paper presents the unsteady magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) mixed convection flow of fluid in an inclined channel with heat source. Uniform and asymmetric temperatures are prescribed at the channel walls. A regular perturbation method is employed to solve the momentum and energy equations. The solutions to velocity and temperature profiles are obtained. Computational values of skin friction and Nusselt numbers are obtained and tabulated. Amongst many results, it is found out that the velocity profile declines with increase in magnetic parameter, Reynolds number and Prandtl number. While, it accelerates with increase in Grashof number and heat source parameter. The temperature distribution increases and decreases with increase in heat source parameter and Prandtl number respectively.
